What 60 Minutes Didn’t Tell You About How to Buy Resveratrol
Ever since 60 Minutes ran their now famous piece on resveratrol, showing that studies revealed that this could be a scientific breakthrough that enables human beings to look and feel younger, many have sought an easy and cost-effective way to buy resveratrol supplements.
Some also recommend taking resveratrol to up your metabolism and physical stamina, and to help you lose weight.
But that’s not everything…
There are also studies that seem to suggest that resveratrol can be effective at guarding against certain types of cancer and controlling bad cholesterol. Well that definitely adds up to a lot of benefits. Let’s assume just half of that is right — that’s still some really amazing stuff.
But then the question is — if you want to buy resveratrol, what do you look for in resveratrol supplements?
So let’s cover a few things to look for:
The number one thing is go with a company that has a repuation for quality products. High quality simply means that there’s enough active resveratrol in the supplement to give you the benefits. Now I know that sounds really obvious, but I wanted to stress the point.
Another thing to keep in mind is that resveratrol, because it’s a “supplement” and not a “drug,” doesn’t fall under control of agenices like the FDA. This simply means that, in general, the manufacturers of resveratrol don’t have to pass the same quality control tests as drug companies.
So unfortunately you could ultimately wind up paying for something that isn’t even resveratrol at all. There has already been fake bottles of resveratrol that have been found, according to a report I read in USA Today. So, make sure what you’re buying is actually resveratrol. Another point that should be pretty obvious, I know.
One of the easiest ways to make sure that you don’t wind up regretting your purchase is simply to only go through a company that’s willing to give you a free trial of their product first. This is a great litmus test, simply because it wouldn’t be too smart to give away samples of something that was a bad product.
And of course, using some common sense never hurt. There’s a huge demand for resveratrol right now. You might even wind up with something that’s not resveratrol if you go with a product that’s five or ten bucks.
So, we want the ability to try out the product first, so we’re looking for free trials. Don’t automatically assume that you’ve scored a tremendous deal on some dirt cheap bargain resveratrol, and give it a try.
If you want to make it ultra-easy on yourself, stick with sites that specialize in offering reviews of resveratrol supplements and they can help you decide. For example, I’d check out this buy resveratrol review site, and take a few minutes to watch the videos they have there.
There are links there that will help you easily find resveratrol manufacturers who meet those requirements, so you’ll be able to skip all the mindless hours of searching this out for yourself.

Longevity Breakthrough in Anti-Aging Resveratrol
For your health and wellbeing, health care professionals and Resveratrol facts. For generations untold, the secret key to longer life and longevity has hidden deep within the French Countryside. The French are known to benefit from the French paradox, an observation that despite eating fatty diets, just like those in the US, they have a better quality of life in their elder years and experience less heart disease.
Natures french paradox and Resveratrols Facts! The truth is that the French secret to longer life and better health is savored with a sip of red wine. Resveratrol, a tiny molecule in red wine, is the secret. Resveratrol and Trans-Resveratrol are full spectrum antioxidants that can be found in the skin, seeds and stems of grapes and the Japanese Knot-weed. The plants create it as a natural defense to dangers like bad weather and disease.
Studies and red wine supplement Resveratrol, and its active form Trans-Resveratrol, can improve our health and help us live longer; so concluded a Harvard medical study. Resveratrol studies found that it might help to pervert strokes, heart disease and blood clots, repair cells on a cellular level, slow and even stop the progression of Alzheimer’s and Arthritis, return the skin to a younger state and boost energy. The secret to anti-aging and longevity lies within Trans-Resveratrol, which remains active only when sheltered from the sun, light and oxygen. In this pure, ultra beneficial form, Trans-Resveratrol has been proven in studies to activate the SIRT1 “Longevity Gene.”
Activating SIRT1 causes cells to become better at self-repair, a function they grow worse at as we age. Cells must be able to repair because if they don’t it can lead to increased dna mutation, which can lead to dangerous problems like cancer, inefficient operation and even cause cells to die more easily. Through activating the “Longevity Gene” we cause our cells to live longer and be more efficient.
Mitochondria are the foundation to longer life and the key o cellular energy. One way to gain more energy is to increase the number of mitochondria within your cells, which can be done with Trans-Resveratrol. Research shows us that Trans-Resveratrol can improve aerobic function, enhanced sensorimotor function and increase energy expenditure by promoting an increase in mitochondrial function.
Resveratrol and wine – what we know now
We’ve been told for years that for some reason wine seemed to be good for your health. We know better now, but early on some people assumed that it was the alcohol in the wind that was responsible for the healthy benefits. They were definitely wrong.
So what the latest studies have shown is that the major health benefits are actually coming from the resveratrol.
By the way, in just a minute or going to take a look at why drinking wine to get resveratrol is really not the best way to do it.
For example, if you’d like to know how to get resveratrol into your system without having to do damage to your body by drinking massive amounts of alcohol, then check out this resveratrol and wine article.
I really can’t stress just how vital this is. So please give it a look.
But first, I want to discuss what resveratrol is, and its often misunderstood relationship to one.
So finally we know what it is in the wine that is responsible for things like the French Paradox and other mysteries relating to how people who eat a less than ideal diet still manage to remain largely free of the kinds of diseases and health problems that afflict so many Americans.
Oddly enough, it wasn’t known until very recently that resveratrol was this powerful. Not only that, but it’s almost 50 times more powerful than vitamin C, and can even slow down the aging process and help protect you against cancer.
Really good stuff. Now, the only real drawback to resveratrol is that you have to drink lots of wine as we mentioned above. And of course this is because of all the wine you’d be forced to drink to get enough resveratrol to realize the benefits. While this may seem harmless and fun, I don’t think you realize the amount of alcohol you’d actually have to drink, and the other health problems it would cause.
The bottom line is that the alcohol in the wine has the potential to largely undo the benefits of the resveratrol. So that your body winds up having to work even harder to get rid of the toxicity from all the alcohol you have to drink. And when that happens, it’s pretty obvious that you’re probably doing more harm than good, even if you are getting a decent amount of resveratrol in the bargain.
I realize that I said earlier that we go over some of the methods for getting safe amounts of resveratrol, so let’s cover those methods now. Keep in mind, it’s importance to get your hands on sources of resveratrol that don’t require alcohol. So you see, someone would have to drink way too much wine in order to get the full benefits of the resveratrol, and this would do more harm to you in the process. So, here’s what I recommend…
Right now, go see this Resveratrol and Wine site, where you’ll get videos that show the best sources for resveratrol. Perhaps the best part is that you don’t need to drink any alcohol.

What Can Be Done About Aging? Resveratrol
There are a chunk of people who are really optimistic about their living, and aren't just ready to give their lives away. Also people belonging to this group are always in a search of finding a healthy substitute to make their life better, and of course healthier.
Most of us are not aware of the potential advantages of drinking red wine. But wine is the only reason due to which French are enjoying a scarce rate in coronary disease in spite of having an intake of foods with high diet. Couple of years ago, a French team did a research, and found out that men who were regularly taking wine, at least twice per day, were 50% less prone to a second heart attack as compared to the non-drinkers.
Previous studies done on small worm species, yeast, and fruit flies showed that compound Resveratrol which is an antioxidant originated in grapes, specially the red ones, is indeed a compound which has life extending or reducing aging qualities.
Red grapes are generally used in the production of red wines. Thus it is understood that by just drinking small amounts of wine on a daily basis is good for your health because resveratrol's antiaging benefits..
Recently, in a study which came from Italy, the nutrient resveratrol was used to test the anti-ageing qualities of it on a variety of tropical fish. Amazing results were witnessed where the fishes lifespan was increased up to 50%.
Organic compound resveratrol, which is located in the grape skin to shield them from any disease, is hauled out from grapes though a process of making wine. The wine that gets made can then be a preservative for the resveratrol that is extracted, and slows the oxidation process and protects from toxins. This is basically the same way resveratrol benefits antiaging in the same way. Having a glass of grape juice and eating plain raisins don't have an identical effect; resveratrol is not preserved in the later one.
Another resveratrol review test was that the fish which was given resvy supplements as their food not only lived longer compared to other of its kind, but also resided in a livelier manner and exhibited improved memory response tests. Also, the neurons that are located in their brain were not decaying as quickly post-mortem.
Scientists have now been able to pinpoint and extract the anti-aging element in red wine so you can reap the antiaging benefits of resveratrol without the harmful effects of alcohol.
Thus red wine may be considered as a wonderful drug, since it can increase the HDL cholesterol, prevent cold, decreases the Alzheimer's syndrome, reduces fat levels, lowers the risk of cancer, and many more.
