How To Make Your Hair Grow Faster
For the longest time people thought brushing out the hair at night with no less than a hundred strokes would make the hair grow faster. As it turns out, this is not really something that works. It does, however, stimulate the blood flow through the scalp, and that can help hair be healthier. I know if I were to brush my hair out that much each night it would create a lot of problems. I have natural curls, and this sort of abuse would cause more breakage than I already have.
There are some ways to make your hair grow faster, but they aren’t going to make a huge difference. However, if you have hair that is very stubborn about growing, these things might help a little. One important thing is to take your vitamins. The hair gets vitamins from within, not through shampoo as some would have you believe, and if you are getting your daily recommended allowance of vitamins and minerals, the hair will be healthier and will grow a little faster.
Another tip to make your hair grow faster is to have a trim at least every eight weeks. I know that this sounds counter productive, but it does work for many people. Some people only need to have one every eight weeks while others might have to go every six weeks. It doesn’t really make your hair grow faster in the sense that the strands get longer faster, but it does cut down on split ends. When the hair splits it breaks, and hair growth will not be noticeable.
It is also important to watch what you eat if you want to make your hair grow faster. Besides vitamins, there is a strong emphasis on what a person eats in regards to how strong their fingernails are, and how well their hair grows. A good, balanced diet can also help in this endeavor. For some people though, there is not much they can do. Though some say hair grows an inch a month, some just naturally experience slower hair growth, and that is just the way their body works. If nothing in the way of diet and regular trims helps to make your hair grow faster, you may just have to live with the fact that it will grow when it wants to. The best anyone can do is to take good care of their hair and hope for the best.
